This is my first encounter with whoopie pies - I have seen them all over the blogosphere and thought it was about time I made some too.
Hotel Chocolat kindly sent me some 40% Milk Chocolate Drops, these easy melt baby buttons can be used for cooking or eaten from the packet, either way they are totally delicious.
The whoopie pies are made with Hotel Chocolat Organic Cocoa Powder (a must have for any baker), the filling is whipped double cream topped with raspberries (sadly not from my garden because my stock has now been eaten), the topping is simply melted Milk Chocolate Drops.
Thank you Hotel Chocolat!

Oh well done for tackling whoopie pies, they look superb. I keep telling myself it's time to give them a go, but haven't managed it yet! What recipe did you use?
Choclette - I didn't put the recipe on the blog posting because in this instance the recipe wasn't that great and unless I am happy with a recipe it doesn't make the blog. The best part was the chocolate!!! M x
Look amazing dear Maggie! gloria
They look lovely. I really like Hotel Chocolat's products, yum.
Chocolate and raspberries are one of the best combinations in the universe! But I'm not that crazy about whoopie pies, although I wouldn't turn one down, lol!
Wow - they look so pretty! How did you resist eating all those tiny chocolate buttons?
I still haven't made whoopie pies because there seem to be so many flavours to choose from! These look so delicious - what a treat.
Amazing! I am yet to make my own whoopie pies. Very jealous of your free chocolate from Hotel Chocolat! I'm desperate to be able to work for them again during my final year of university. They truly are the best chocolatiers of the world!
