Berries and Cherries Smoothie

I made this smoothie a couple of weeks ago when the sun was shining non stop here in the West Midlands, unfortunately this last week it's been rain, sunshine, rain, sunshine.

Redcurrants from my garden, a mixture of cherries and blueberries from the freezer and the last orange from the fruit bowl all make a delicious and refreshing smoothie.

Ingredients:
  • Handful of redcurrants, cherries and blueberries
  • 1 orange, peel and pith removed
  • 2 teaspoons caster sugar
  • splash of lemon juice (from a bottle is fine)
  • 200ml water
  • a few ice cubes if using fresh fruit
Method:
  • Add the fruits, sugar, ice cubes and lemon juice to the jug 5 Secs/Speed 5.
  • Pour 200ml water into the jug blend 1 minute/Speed 10.
